Peanut Leaf Scorch

Leptosphaerulina crassiaca is the causal organism of Peanut Leaf Scorch. We’re seeing more of this than I care to see.  Dr Bob Kemerait, UGA Extension Plant Pathologist, says it causes some leaf symptoms but does not cause yield loss in peanut. Our normal fungicides used in peanut probably help with this as well.
