Help with Soil and Water Conservation Practices

 There is $1.2M in financial assistance approved through the AWEP (Ag Water Enhancement Program) for the Lower Flint River Basin in Georgia. You can apply through local NRCS offices until April 19th. Emphasis will be put on this program April 1st through 19th.

Conservation practices in the Lower Flint River Basin covered by this funding assistance include:

+ Variable-Rate Irrigation (VRI)

+ Remote Soil Moisture Monitoring

+ Low Pressure Spray-type Sprinkler Retrofits

+ Sod-based Rotation
