Dryland Corn

Pretty good year for Dryland corn. There’s not much grown around here without irrigation, but here’s Tommy Smith on Jeff Braswell’s farm with some that yielded 114 bushels per acre. May was extremely dry and that cut the yield , but otherwise there was good moisture.

I sure do like this pic!! Tommy takes so much pride in helping make Jeffrey’s farming the best it can be! Our dear Travis would be so proud!!

My brother, Tommy, has always been a dedicated and faithful person no matter what type of job he was responsible for. I am so proud of him. If I owned a farm, I would want him to mange it. He works from dawn to dark if needed. I love him so much. Glenda
