Agricultural News for Farmers and Agribusiness in SW Georgia

This week I was headed to look at a peanut field to help a grower decide whether to dig it and I noticed a blimp coming across the sky. After looking at the field I could see it heading towards the Donalsonville Airport. The blimp flew around there a little while.

They flew down to some cotton at the end of the runway, I don’t know if they were trying to pick some or figure out what it was. If it keeps raining we may have to figure out how to pick cotton from the blimp. _DSC3813

I saw it try to play chicken with a local helicopter pilot who was out defoliating cotton.
